An Introduction to Zero-G Research at the Royal Aircraft Establishment

Discussion shows the importance of the zero-g environment of an orbiting satellite as a factor in the design of two phase liquid-vapour systems. The possible way in which zero-g may be simulated are discussed, leading to a description of the facilities devised and used at the Royal Aircraft Establishment. The application of these facilities in the design of a satellite fuel tank is also considered. (Author)
