International Symposium on the Functional Organization of the Compound Eye

An international symposium on 'The Functional Organization of the Compound Eye' was organized and held in Stockholm 25-27 October 1965. About 90 scientists took part in the symposium including about 50 participants from foreign countries. The 34 papers delivered at the meeting are being published in a symposium volume. This report contains a general synopsis of the meeting and a copy of the program. (Author)
