H Sub 02 Wave Exciter in a Round-Section Waveguide

摘要

An H sub 02 wave exciter is proposed in a waveguide with a round section which has the distinguishing feature that for the purpose of lessening the losses in the conversion and increasing the working range of the frequencies in a waveguide of round section there are provided uniformly distributed projections around the circumference which have uniform height being part of sectors smoothly changing in dimensions of cross section of the waveguide from an angle of aperture equalling zero up to the angle of 360 degrees.
