Calculation of Rate of Vaporization of Metal from Cylindrical Vessels into a Vacuum and Mass Spectrometric Investigation of Vapor Pressures of Metals and Alloys

摘要

An investigation was made of conditions of vaporization from a cell of cylindrical shape for the case of monomeric and dimeric particles of vapor. It is shown how the calculations which are made can be applied for investigations of processes of vaporization on the mass spectrometer.
