The contents of this Document represent the second chapter of a Russian text on aerodynamics that Joy Galley and I are translating and editing, respectively. This is a formidable undertaking, as the book is almost 600 pages in length. It appears to me to be very worthwhile, however, since it represents an exhaustive coverage of a specialized but important subject, the aerodynamics of bodies of revolution, and there is nothing at all similar in English.
