摘要

1. The single aerosol and subcutaneous immunization of rabbits with typhoid whole antigen caused an intensive plasmocytic reaction, expressed in a considerable increase in the number of young plasmatic cells both in the regional and distant lymph nodes.n2. In the rabbits, both during the aerosol and subcutaneous immunization, the number of RNA enriched lymphocytes increased in the peripheral blood. The maximum content of RNA in the lymphocytes was detected after 7-10 days following aerosol and subcutaneous immunization.n3. The increase of the titer of typhoid agglutinins in the regional lymph nodes in rabbits vaccinated by the aerosol and sub¬cutaneous methods began with the 3rd day following immunization and reached the maximum by the 10th day. In the first days following immunizationnthe titers of agglutinins in the blood serum were somewhat lower than in the homogenates of the regional lymph nodes, however they became considerably higher in later periods.n4. The dynamics of the titers of agglutinins both in the lymph nodes and in the blood following subcutaneous and aerosol immunization turned out to be completely the same.
