METHOD OF WELDING BY THE PUSING OF BETA-TITANIUM ALLOYS

The method described is distinguished by the fact that the welding is done with the fusing on an object of the alloy of beta-titanium of a layer of metal corresponding to the metal of the second object to be welded. This makes it possible to improve the quality of the welded union.nIn accordance with the proposed method the beta-titanium alloys are welded with copper, iron and aluminum and their alloys with a limited fusing of the joined metals, so that the concentration of these elements in the metal of the seam be within the limits of their mutual solubility.
