At the present time in the chemical industry of great importance is the synthesis of glycerin. An economically advantageous method of obtaining glycerin is the oxidation of propylene in acrolein and further processing of the acrolein glycerin,nIn the process of laboratory investigation of the oxidation of propylrnr and also in the carryin out of industrial systhesis the necessity arises for precise quantitative evaluation of the yield of acrolein.
