To determine anti-scratching properties a series of brief tests is carried out (each test lasting from 10 sec to 1 min) at an increase in load for each subsequent test; the indices are: l) curve of wear-load marker diameter or the so-called average load by Hertz (according to State standards [COST] 9490-60 generalized wear index OPI), 2) load at the beginning of scratching and 3) welding load.
