METHOD OF OBTAINING COMBINED MIXTURES OP POLYAMIDE AND POLYFORMALDEHYDE

In a number of cases the obtaining of mixtures of polyamides with other polymers is very difficult. Ordinarily this is connected with the difficulties of the mechanical combinability of polymers or the impossi¬bility of selecting for them common solvents.nThe proposed method of obtaining combined mixtures of polyamide with polyformaldehyde is a new one. The method consists in dissolving polyformaldehyde in the monomer of polyamide and then the monomer is subjected to polymerization.
