Thermal and electrical conductivity and modulus of elasticity of two-phase composite materials

It is shown that the same mathematical approach can be used to calculate thermal or electrical conductivity and modulus of elas¬ticity of two-phase composite materials. Under certain conditions the same equation is applicable to both problems.nThe influence of Poisson's ratio on the modulus of elasticity and the influence of phase distribution on both the modulus of elasticity and the conductivity of two-phase materials are discussed.
