DEEP-WATER METAL CUTTING TORCH ADDENDUM TO PHASE FINAL REPORT

摘要

This supplementary effort has been carried out to demonstrate that an inert gaseous purge is unnecessary in the design of the underwater cutting torch. Under conditions of purgeless operation, underwater starts, stops, and restarts were made, and metal cutting was accomplished.
