Reevaluation of the Rammsonde Hardness Equation

摘要

The purpose of this report is to provide a rational derivation for a hardness term which relates the Rammsonde number to a simple but more accurate and universal energy equation. Major losses are accounted for and the use of different weights for the test can be accommodated without complicating the evaluation.
