Feedback - Pair Design Procedure

摘要

The report shows that by taking only open-loop measurements, a complete design procedure for two-stage feedback amplifiers predicting closed-loop performance is available. Also, a thorough analysis of the circuit is given, including a discussion of such topics as DC stability with respect to beta, transient response, and gain-bandwidth product. It is shown that the amplifier has both AC and DC stability with respect to beta. It also shows that for best gain-bandwidth product, as little feedback as possible should be used.
