摘要

An experimental and theoretical program concerning the distortion of a deviating flat mirror under high-speed rotation about an axis at 45degrees to its normal is discussed,and the results are compared. The degradation in image quality imposed by the distortions in such mirrors can be predicted to a fair degree of accuracy by using a relatively simple function which relates the contributing factors to the image degradation.
