Laguerre Functions and the Laguerre Network: Their Properties and Digital Simulation

This report summarizes the properties of the Laguerre polynomials, the Laguerre functions, and the Laguerre network. Their relationship to system theory is indicated and some typical results from a digital simulation are presented. The theory for the corresponding discretetime network used for the simulation is developed within the report. (Author)
