Polarization Extensions of the Monostatic-Bistatic Equivalence Theorem

For convex non-depolarizing bodies, the mono static-bi static approximation is exact to first order terms in the bistatic angle. The second order error effect causes widening of the lobe structure with increasing bistatic angle. For depolarizing bodies, the error is again second order in the bistatic angle pro¬vided that the depolarizing edges have parallel orientation. Consequently, the theorem can be extended to convex bodies of revolution.
