Duplexer for a Radar System Using a Dual-Mode Transmitter Tube

The unique problems of the design of the duplexer for a radar system are discussed using a microwave triode oscillator to perform both the transmitter and local oscillator functions of a radar with the same tube. A novel duplexer design approach is proposed, which will result in effective duplexer performance in a small, reliable, and inexpensive package. (Author)
