Flight Evaluation of Modified Fold-down Optical Sight and Pilots Radar Scope Filter for F-4 Aircraft

The fold-down optical sight is unsatisfactory for service use for the following reasons: (a) Lack of an adequate light shutter. (b) Excessive hysteresis error. (c) Inadequate mounting of the slip indicator. The pilots radar scope filter is satisfactory for service use.
