Development of Buoy-Mounted Oceanographic Sensors (Bmos)

The report describes work performed from May 15, 1966 to April 30, 1967 on a program to develop sensors for mounting on the mooring of a long range telemetering oceanographic buoy. A general description of the complete sensors are given along with the current results of studies to evaluate transducers, batteries, and anti-fouling techniques. (Author)
