摘要

The thesis develops a method for digital simulation of linear time-invariant dynamic systems with lumped parameters and time delays. Ordinarily, such systems can be described by a linear matrix differential-difference equation, which can be transformed to an infinite-dimensional difference equation whose solution is obtained in a recursive way. As the present method depends on the accuracy of evaluation of the matrix exponential, a simple computational procedure based on the truncation of the infinite series for e to the power (AT) is described. In addition, an algorithm is given which ensures that the transient state of an unforced linear time-invariant dynamic system with zero time delay is calculated to a specified accuracy. Several sample problems are included. (Author)
