Unloading Waves for Combined Longitudinal and Torsional Plastic Waves

Assuming a one-dimensional rate independent theory of combined longitudinal and torsional plastic wave propagation in a thin-walled tube, it is shown that the velocity of unloading waves, c sub u, must satisfy either c sub s
