摘要

This report is a survey of analytical and graphical techniques which determine the values of the feedback parameters of a linear feedback system required to yield desired values of the dominant roots of the characteristic polynomial. Two types of systems were analyzed; single-input/single-output and multiple-input/multiple-output. The intent of this survey is to examine material which will be of interest in the development of a new synthesis technique which can be utilized to design automatic flight control systems. (Author)
