Compounding of G.E. Electrical Grade Silicone Rubber

Fillers for an electrical grade silicone rubber are evaluated with regard to electrical properties, dielectric constant, and % power factor. Stability in water soaks are correlated with the water absorption of the compound, as measured by mechanical pick up, and the importance of low water absorption fillers stressed. (Author)
