Improve K sub a Mixer Diodes for Use in ECM Frequency Converters

摘要

The test equipment setup for performance of the specified characteristic and power aging tests has been completed. Preliminary results have been obtained regarding determination of correlation between the effect of Ka- and X-band power upon the devices. Experimental lots of semiconductor material have been processed covering a range of characteristic properties. Sample devices have been assembled from the experimental lots. Preliminary measurements of conversion loss at the specified 85 milliwatt power level show a reasonable number of units below the objective 6.0 db maximum limit in the one lot tested. (Author)
