Solution of the Discontinuity Problem Between an Empty Rectangular Waveguide and the Same Guide Completely Filled with Transversely Magnetised Ferrite

The solution found by other authors for the discontinuity problem between an empty rectangular waveguide and the same guide completely filled with transversely magnetized ferrite, solution which fails for a certain range of the ferrite parameters, has been modified by introducing a ferrite-metal surface wave, in order to obtain the correct solution.
