DUNGENESS 'B1 NUCLEAR POWER STATION - COOLING WATER SYSTEM PART Ⅰ:WATER MODEL TESTING OF C.W. PUMPHOUSE

A 3 :40 scale model of the cooling water pumphouse for dungeness 'B' Power Station has allowed investigation of a number of design proposals for the pumphouse forebay and the pump suctions. Measurements of velocity and pressure distribution and head loss have been made at a number of sections throughout the model for a variety of flow conditions.
