Experiments on the application of mechanical analysis and monitoring of data from the Board of Hydromecsorlogical Service, Central Districts, showed that a large proportion of the observations – namely – 30％ for monthly and 16％ for seasonal totals of liquid precipitation, 36％ for monthly and 26 ％ for seasonal totals of solid precipitation is doubtful, according to the accepted tolerances, and requires further analysis.nCrowding and spacing out the observation points within the limits of the existing network has little effect on the results obtained.
