Following the general method of Prigogine and Glansdorff, a local potential is established for the problem of thermaldiffusion with laminar flow between two parallel plane plates. The self consistent method of calculation is then applied to the determination of the distribution of mass fraction. Finally the coupling with the velocity, that is to say the influence of the separation on its profile and the inverse, is carried out by the iterative method. (Author)
