Wear and Life of Cutting Tools

摘要

The book examines a series of questions associated with the dimensional wear of cutting tools in machining heat-resistant and high-alloy materials used in many branches of machine building. Existing methods for determining the characteristics of workability and optimum cutting modes, while considering dimensional life of cutting tools and precise machining, are analyzed and new methods set forth, and appropriate nomograms are provided.
