Human Factors/Biomedical Safety Considerations for Neodymium Lasers

This guide was developed as an aid to personnel using neodymium laser systems. It contains both a brief discussion of the characteristics of laser systems in general, and a more detailed review of the neodymium, doped laser and associated hazards. Specific recommendations are made in regard to the safe operation of the neodymium laser during ground and airborne operations. (Author)
