Technic and Applications of Fluorescence Angiography in Aerospace Ophthalmology

摘要

Fluorescence angiography is used by personnel in the Ophthalmology Branch, USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, to evaluate ocular problems. It has diagnostic value in evaluating patients with various intraocular pathologies. It can be used to study the progression and pathophysiology of retinal and choroidal conditions, such as arterial serous retinopathy, intraocular tumors, diabetic retinal changes, etc. The potential uses of this technic as a tool in research extends to other types of stress as they affect retinal circulation.
