Organometallic Synthesis of Reactive Intermediates

摘要

A summary is given of a program of research involving the generation of divalent carbon intermediates through alpha-elimination from organometallic precursors. Particular attention was given to the chemistry of carbenes and of phenyl(trihalomethyl) mercury reagents. A list of the 22 papers published in conjunction with this work is included.
