The horizontal distribution of total ozone content in the northern hemisphere

The present work has utilized data from the period 1957-65, to construct maps of the mean horizontal distribution of total atmospheric ozone content. (This period giving the most detailed observations). Only data which has been critically examined and published has been used.nThe world ozone data, which we used, for constructing maps was obtained basically from 3 groups of instruments;English (Dobson spectrophotometer), Soviet (M-83 ozonometer) French (Vassy and ………). The first two groups are used predominantly.
