The study contains some of the physical principles as well as the main processing steps of electrophotography. This is intended for those readers familiar with the problems of electrophotography only from the outside. In order to standardize the technical terms of electrophotographic processes, we shall discuss subsequently the terms copying method and printing process. (Author)
