Environmental Conditions Relating to Harmful Insects of Mainland Southeast Asia

The study illustrates the relationships between physical and cultural environments and the presence of harmful insects and other arthropods in mainland Southeast Asia. These relationships are graphifally portrayed in diagrammatic cross sections through various parts of the study area. In addition, the physical and cultural factors that contribute to the propagation and spread of harmful insects are analyzed, and there are brief descriptions of the offending species. (Author)
