Ideal Detonation Velocity of Ammonium Perchlorate and Its Mixtures with H. E

Detonation velocity measurements were made on AP/H.E. mixtures containing 20% of HMX, PETN, and TNETB. They indicated an oxidation-reduction reaction for AP/HMX only. The AP in the other two mixtures contributed to the detonation velocity, but the additivity rule does not seem applicable to mixtures of AP with organic H.E. (Author)
