Some Investigations of Antifriction Properties of Nonmetallic Materials Paired with Bronze Using Water Lubrication

摘要

Antifriction properties of nonmetallic materials have been studied on bearings made of caprone, textolite, oak, birch, white beech, lignum vitae, and other materials paired with bronze. The tests were made at rates of 2.2, 3, and 4.1 m/sec under pressures of 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 Mn/sq. m. Water was used as the lubricant. The test results are given. (Author)
