摘要

Two empirical methods of approximating nonlinear functions with rational polynomials have already been successfully demonstrated by the author and L. D. Kovach. It was shown that these approximations produce considerably less error than those of polynomials with exponents restricted to integers. In an extension of this work, an iterative algorithm is presented that allows rational polynomial approximations to be computed analytically. Numerical examples are included. (Author)
