摘要

The nature of the supermolecular structures has an essential influence on the contact strength of polymers. Formation of larger nonuniform supermolecular structures leads to an increase of the temperature of self-heating of the sample and to a considerable drop in the contact fatigue strength of the polymer. The self-heating of samples under the influence of cyclical contact stresses, besides lowering the contact strength, leads to a change of the actual character of failure of polymer samples - to heat distortion instead of fatigue crumbling. The introduction of artificial nuclei of structure formation promotes grinding and regulating the supermolecular structures of the polymer, which leads to a reduction of its temperature of self-heating, an increase of fatigue strength under contact cyclical loads and permits a significant increase of the load ability of machine parts from polymer materials.
