The real-ear attenuation characteristics of the CBS Laboratories' MARK II earphone inclosures were determined by standard procedures and equipment. The inclosures were mounted in an Army APH-5 helmet. The results of the tests show that the MARK II earphone inclosures do improve the attenuation characteristics of the APH-5 at frequencies from 75 to 500 Hz. (Author)
