The AN/ASW-25A Communication Set, Digital Data System is an essential link in the U.S. Navy's All-Weather Carrier Landing System (ACLS). This system provides a highly reliable capability for safely landing carrier-based aircraft despite adverse weather, sea, and visibility conditions. The report describes the performance of the microelectronic circuits in the AN/ASW-25A Communication Set, Digital Data System while the system is in its field environment.
