An Electronic Scanning Method of Photoelastic Analysis

The paper describes the use of a conventional closed circuit television system to enhance contrast and to aid in the analysis of stress distribution in photoelastic analysis. The use of an oscilloscope display permits the analysis to read stress distribution directly and to magnify the scale electronically. (Author)
