The research had the stated objectives (1) to develop new organometallic carbene precursors and new carbene chemistry, and (2) to study new reactions found with regard to scope and mechanism. Results and conclusions are very briefly summarized and a listing of publications, lectures, and scientific personnel associated with the project is provided. (Author)
