摘要

In Japan, the cat was added to the list of natural host for Paragonimus sadoensis Miyazaki et al., 1968, and it was experimentally revealed that the house mouse, Mus molossinus, the house rat, attus rattus, the brown rat, R. norvegicus, the field vole, Microtus montebelli, and the field mouse, Apodemus speciosus were able to be the final host of the same fluke. In Malaysia, Potamiscus cognatus, Parathelphusa tridentata and Siamthelphusa aff. improvisa were added to the list of crab host for P. westermani (Kerbert, 1878). In Ceylon, four species of crabs were examined for Paragonimus metacercariae, of which Parathelphusa rugosa was proved to harbor those of P. westermani. In Mexico, a new lung fluke, P. mexicanus Miyazaki et Ishii, 1968 was recorded, and a specimen from Costa Rica was identified as the same fluke. In Peru, a new lung fluke was found in Cajamarca, which is expected to be named P. peruvianus. It is most probable that the fluke is the causative agent of human paragonimiasis in Peru. (Author)
