Studies were performed in the following areas: Realizations of sequential machines; Realizations of switching functions; Reliability and maintainability of switching and sequential circuits; Pattern recognition. These accomplishments are summarized in Part I of the report and described in detail in 12 papers listed in Part II of the report. Part III lists all the personnel supported by the Grant. (Author)
