A pump has been developed to dispense air-entraining agents into concrete mixers with a capacity of 0. 5m3 or less. Tests at temperatures covering the range likely to be experienced on site have shown that the standard deviation of the amounts dispensed at one setting does not exceed 1. 5 ml. It is suggested that the dispenser complies with the standards of accuracy specified by the Ministry of Transport, provided that it is used to dispense quantities of 60 ml or more.
