Electrical Measuring Instruments: Gauged Wires

This document establishes standards for the manufacture, testing, storage, packing and transportation of calibrated wires, i.e., those with specified electrical resistance values for use with panel-mounted and portable electrical instruments. Diagrams are provided which show the physical dimensions of various types of standardized wire pairs and their connecting terminals.
