Study of Precision Position Fixing Requirements in Special Purpose Marine Operations

The report identifies and describes the total spectrum of special purpose marine operators in the U.S., their methods, capabilities, costs and products, and their needs for special 'on site' position fixing services now and for the next 10 years. Further, the study examines the economic and technical relationships and trade-off potential between the needs as presented, and the results of satisfaction thereof, with a view toward determining the relationship between cost and improvement in capability or cost and benefit.
