An analysis has been performed to determine the temperature and pressure dependency of a flueric oscillator. The results of this analysis show that it is possible to cause the charge cycle for a given half period to decrease with temperature and the decay cycle to increase with temperature so that the same net difference flow, which is the switching criterion, can be obtained during each half cycle despite the temperature change. Thus, temperature insensitivity can be accomplished. The parameter design relations for temperature-insensitive operation were found by setting the first derivative to zero. For the network discussed, the second derivative could not be simultaneously set to zero; however, both derivatives can be simultaneously set to zero with a more complex network. A step-by-step procedure for designing a temperature-insensitive flueric oscillator is presented. The analysis is then extended to include pressure insensitivity. (Author)
